BugGapp Privacy Policy

Product-specific privacy terms for BugGapp, presented inside the KaSa23 website.

BugGapp Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 18, 2026 Last Updated: April 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BugGapp handles information. BugGapp is provided by KaSa23 LLC (“KaSa23,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

BugGapp is an iPhone app that lets users review mobile web apps, capture issues, annotate screenshots, and export structured bug-report files.

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to BugGapp. For broader company privacy practices, and for any issue not specifically addressed here, BugGapp defers to the applicable KaSa23 LLC Privacy Policy and related KaSa23 terms and policies.

By using BugGapp, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the BugGapp mobile application.

It does not govern third-party services, including Apple, ad providers, websites you choose to review inside the app, or any third-party tools or services that may be linked to, loaded by, or integrated with BugGapp. Those third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Where this Privacy Policy is silent, the governing KaSa23 company-level policies and terms apply.

2. What BugGapp Does

BugGapp is a mobile-first bug review tool for mobile web apps. It allows you to:

  • open a web app on iPhone
  • mark bugs where they appear on screen
  • add notes, severity, and priority
  • generate annotated screenshots
  • export bug-report materials such as ZIP, CSV, and Markdown files

BugGapp is designed as a lightweight capture-and-export workflow tool.

3. Information We Collect

As the app currently exists, we do not intentionally collect personal data from you except what is necessary in connection with Apple in-app purchase processing, purchase restoration, and ad-supported app functionality.

BugGapp does not require you to create a separate BugGapp account.

BugGapp does not intentionally collect or store with KaSa23:

  • your name
  • your email address through the app
  • your mailing address
  • your phone number
  • your contacts
  • your precise location
  • your photos library contents, except app-generated screenshots and exports you create within the app workflow
  • your payment card details

4. Purchases and Apple In-App Purchases

BugGapp may offer a paid Pro unlock through Apple’s in-app purchase system, using Apple’s purchase infrastructure. The product brief states that the app uses StoreKit for the one-time Pro unlock purchase.

When you purchase, restore, or validate a Pro unlock, BugGapp may receive limited transaction-related information made available through Apple, such as:

  • whether a purchase was completed
  • whether Pro access should be enabled
  • whether a prior purchase can be restored
  • product and transaction identifiers or similar purchase records needed for app functionality

KaSa23 does not receive or store your full payment card number through BugGapp. Payment processing is handled by Apple under Apple’s own systems, terms, and privacy practices.

For Apple-related payment handling, purchase processing, and App Store account matters, BugGapp defers to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy policies, and to the broader KaSa23 company policies where relevant.

5. Advertising

BugGapp includes ads in the free version of the app. Ads are removed when the user purchases and unlocks the paid Pro version.

To support ad functionality in the free version, BugGapp may use advertising-related services or SDKs. Those services may process limited device, app, or ad-related information as needed to display and manage ads, subject to the privacy practices and terms of the relevant third-party ad providers.

KaSa23 does not sell your personal information through BugGapp.

Because ad delivery may involve third-party services, BugGapp defers to the applicable privacy policies and terms of those providers for their own collection and processing activities.

If BugGapp later changes the ad stack, ad targeting behavior, or data-sharing behavior, this Privacy Policy should be updated accordingly.

6. Bug Review Content, Screenshots, and Exports

When you use BugGapp, the app may create and handle content needed for the product to function, including:

  • bug descriptions
  • annotations
  • issue metadata such as severity and priority
  • screenshots generated during bug capture
  • exported files such as ZIP, CSV, and Markdown bug-report outputs

As the app currently exists, this content is created to provide the core workflow of the app. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a future update, BugGapp does not provide a separate KaSa23-hosted account system or cloud sync feature for storing this content.

You are responsible for the content you create, export, store, or share through your use of the app.

7. How We Use Information

Any limited information available through BugGapp is used only as reasonably necessary to:

  • operate the app
  • enable and restore Pro purchases
  • display and manage ads in the free version
  • generate screenshots, issue records, and exports you request
  • support app stability, fraud prevention, security, diagnostics, and basic functionality
  • comply with law, enforce applicable terms, and protect the app, KaSa23, and users

We do not use BugGapp data for data brokerage or sale of personal information.

8. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Apple, for in-app purchase, restoration, App Store, and related platform functionality
  • ad providers or ad-related service providers, to display, deliver, manage, measure, or limit ads in the free version
  • service providers or infrastructure providers, if needed to support the app
  • legal, regulatory, or governmental authorities, where required by law or legal process
  • other parties where necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of applicable terms

Any such sharing is limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

9. Data Retention

As the app currently exists, KaSa23 does not intend to retain personal data from BugGapp users on a separate KaSa23-operated account backend for ordinary app use.

Bug content, screenshots, and exports may remain on your device or in locations you choose when using the app’s export functionality.

Purchase-related records may be maintained by Apple under Apple’s own systems and policies.

Advertising partners or other third-party service providers may retain information under their own retention practices and policies.

10. Children’s Privacy

BugGapp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through BugGapp, contact us and we will review the request.

11. Security

We take reasonable steps to support the security and integrity of BugGapp. However, no app, device, software environment, network, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Your Choices

You may choose whether to use BugGapp, whether to make an in-app purchase, and whether to use the free ad-supported version or the paid Pro version.

You may also stop using the app at any time.

If you want to understand how Apple, ad providers, or other third parties handle information connected with their own services, you should review their applicable terms and privacy policies.

13. Third-Party Services

BugGapp may rely on or interact with third-party services, including:

  • Apple and the App Store
  • ad networks or advertising SDKs
  • websites and web apps you choose to review within the app
  • other third-party infrastructure or service providers

KaSa23 does not control those third-party services and is not responsible for their independent privacy or data practices.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The updated version becomes effective when posted or made available through the app or related BugGapp or KaSa23 materials, unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of BugGapp after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.

Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

15. Relationship to KaSa23 Company Policies

This Privacy Policy is a product-specific policy for BugGapp.

It should be read together with the applicable:

  • KaSa23 LLC Privacy Policy
  • KaSa23 LLC Terms of Service
  • any BugGapp-specific product terms, disclosures, or addenda

If a matter is not specifically addressed in this BugGapp Privacy Policy, the governing KaSa23 company-level policies and terms apply to the extent relevant and permitted by law.
